A classic aromatic style of Vinho Verde, a top quality wine made from a 5-grape blend. Light, and refreshing, with green apple acidity and hints of herbal aromas. A slight effervescence, typical of top Vinho Verde, and is excellent as an aperitif or to partner light seafood.
VINIBIO is a collaborative project between four organic and biodynamic growers, led by Fernando Paiva, in the south of the Portugal’s Vinho Verde region. Here the vineyards enjoy a slightly warmer sub-climate with vines drawing on mineral-rich soils of schist and granite. Driven by a passion for quality, authentic wine and their land as well as a desire for sustainability, their respect for nature and their consumers remains paramount.
