TYDY, 'TYDY', Sauvignon Blanc, IGP Val de Loire, France

£9.99

This wine is pale yellow in colour. On the nose, there are expressive notes of gooseberry, pear and fresh lime with a subtle touch of tropical fruit. These bright fruits continue onto the palate, which is bright and round with a refreshing acidity. A crisp and perfumed Sauvignon Blanc.

TYDY stands for Thierry Delaunay, the fifth-generation owner of Domaine Joël Delaunay. It is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown in the Touraine region. This isan  IGP Valle de la Loire, so it offers great value, high quality sauvignon sourced from around the region at a very comfortable price point - the climb up to Sancerre or Pouilly Fume is a big one nowadays and Val de Loire provides a great French sauvignon experience without spending £15+.
