Tight and fresh bursting with citrus and pear aroma and light brioche notes. delicious acidity, dry, poised, and with such soft bubbles and feel on the palate. This Champagne always delivers and though it can de enjoyed young, it will develop with a decade of cellar ageing. Collectible and an absolute treat.
Taittinger is an iconic Champagne house that is really the last truly family owned Grand Marque Champagne, still in the hands of the Taittinger family, now led by the charismatic Clovis Taittinger. The estate has been making wines for centuries however it was in 1925 when Pierre Taittinger bought the Chateau did it develop into what we know today. A classic Chardonnay focused house with a signature fresh zesty style. They also make Comtes de Champagne as their top wine, a truly iconic magnificent bottle, and one of the finest Blanc des Blancs wines.
