Made from different parcels of grower grapes from across the Western Cape. This is a fun, light, cherry aroma filled wine which is versatile. A lively, fun BBQ wine! Not to be taken too seriously
Primordial Soup is a project created by a group of growers in the Western Cape and led by our importer. It ultimately uses 'surplus' high quality fruit from around the area to make this wine. Many of the producers when they have bumper harvest will sell on the extra, it's normal. So essentially you have wine made from quality fruit, but at a very low price. The name pokes a bit of fun from the fact that this really is a real blend of all sorts of varieties from different growers, though in reality most of the grapes will be Shiraz, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cinsault... as these are widely grown in the area.
