Etna Rosso is becoming very fashionable and the quality and credibility of wines coming from the East of Sicily is growing fast. There is some incredible wine making happening and the results are unique due to the volcanic soils and climate.
Cantine Nicosia is based at the foot of Etna, on the east coast of Sicily, where Carmelo Nicosia, along with his sons Franceso and Graziano (5th generation), have developed their family business into one of the area's most important wine producers.
Warm, complex, savoury nose with aromas of wild raspberry, leather, toasted nuts and dried petals. Delicate yet richly flavoured on the palate, rounded and silky with pure red berry fruit.
