Well made Pinot Gris from New Zealand is delicious. Similar aromas to it's home in the Alsace, but with a tropical streak. This wine is no different. Mellow pear, apple, and creamy quince with a touch of smokiness. Generous tropical flavours which is balanced and ripe.
The wine is medium-sweet, so there is some sweetness. But this is so well balanced it just works. Very pleasurable to drink. It's perfect with a bit of spicy food, try with fresh Vietnamese or Thai dishes!
