This well made medium-sweet Pinot Gris from New Zealand is delicious. Similar aromas and flavours to it's home in the Alsace, but with a sumptuous tropical streak. Mellow pear, apple, and creamy quince with a touch of smokiness. Generous ripe white wine with excellent acidity and good level of sweetness. Very refined.
The wine is medium-sweet, so there is a good amount of sweetness here, though it isn't as far as a dessert wine. Very pleasurable to drink. It's perfect with citrus, creamy deserts, or even a bit of spicy food, try with fresh Vietnamese or Thai dishes!
