Light Bodied Red
Light bodied red is a style which is about restraint, freshness, and approachability. The light bodied red has become more popular than ever before, with many looking for lighter styles. It's not to say the alcohol is any less, bu the weight of the wine will be easier on the palate. Expect fruity, crunchy, refreshing reds in this category.
The most famous grape and wine examples of light bodied reds are most Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Bardolino, Beaujolais village, and some Cinsault.
